Before an AI engine can cite your page, it has to read it, and understand it. Mentionable crawls your site every month, finds what gets in the way, and walks you through the fix on the pages that matter.
Why does site health matter for AI visibility?
You can write the best comparison page in your market. If your robots.txt blocks OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT will never quote it. If your prices only appear after JavaScript runs, an AI crawler may never see them. If three of your pages target the same question, the engines pick one, and maybe not the one you wanted.
These problems are invisible from your dashboard of mentions. They show up as "never cited", with no explanation. Site health gives you the explanation.
What does Mentionable check?
Every page crawled goes through the checks, sorted in four levels:
- Blocking: what stops AI crawlers or search engines from reading the site at all, from robots.txt to a firewall that turns AI robots away.
- AI impact: what makes an AI misread or skip a page, such as invalid structured data, an answer buried too far down, figures without a source or an orphan page.
- Consistency: prices or brand names that differ from one page to the next, pages competing for the same prompts.
- SEO hygiene: the basics that still count, from titles and meta descriptions to redirect chains.
You read the results by fix (one problem, every page it touches) or by page (one page, every problem on it). Each crawl is compared with the previous one: so many problems fixed, so many new.
How does the guided fix work?
The pages that matter most, the ones that sell and the ones that carry your prompts, come first in your plan. Open the fix on any of them, or on any other crawled page.
Mentionable checks the page from end to end: is it indexed, can AI crawlers access it, how does it render, is the JSON-LD valid, which internal links point to it. It shows you what an AI understands from the page, in plain words, so you see the gap between what you meant and what the engines read. Then it suggests a new title and meta description.
The guided view takes you through it step by step. The expert view gives the raw details for whoever implements it.
Mentionable does not rewrite the sales copy of your offer pages: those stay in your words. It tells you what to change and why.
What happens after you fix it?
Nothing more to do. At the next crawl, Mentionable checks the page again. When the fix is fully applied, the page is checked off in your Action plan on its own and written into the project's action journal.
The Progress page then shows the effect over four weeks: mentions and citations in AI answers, Google impressions and clicks, before and after the fix.
How much does it cost?
The monthly crawl costs no credits. Its size depends on your plan: 50 pages on Growth, 250 on Pro, 500 on Agency.
Fixes are free on every plan, with no monthly limit: every problem shows its pages and how to fix it. Want a fresh crawl after a release? Launch it by hand for 200 credits, charged only if it completes.
Connecting Google Search Console is optional and read-only. It adds real Google data to the diagnostic and to the Action plan.
