create_prompts

create_prompts adds prompts to a project's tracking, exactly like the "Add prompts" button in the app. New prompts are scanned right away on the project's engines, within the credits left for the day, then every day with the rest of the project.

When to use

Use it when an agent has found questions worth tracking: gaps surfaced by list_fan_outs, questions a client asked, or a new service to monitor. Pair it with list_prompts first, so you do not add a question the project already tracks.

On a local business (a project with an address, or one that already shows AI maps), a prompt that names no place is answered for wherever the asker is: its map follows the user's location and it does not count in local visibility. These prompts are still created, and come back in warnings with the no_location code and ready-to-use localized versions.

Requires member role minimum, customer role rejected. Creating a prompt costs no credit; each scan does, as in the app.

Tips and patterns

• On a local project, act on no_location: call create_prompts again with one of the suggestions, so the question counts in local visibility. The original stays tracked, as a general visibility prompt.
• suggestions use the city and area of the project's address. Without an address, the list is empty: write the place in the question yourself.
• Keep the wording conversational ("Which web agency do you recommend in Vannes?"): prompts are sent as is to ChatGPT, Perplexity and the other engines.
