Mentionable tells you what to do to get cited by AI engines, when to do it, and how. One plan, built from your site, your Google data and what ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and the other engines cite, laid out over 3, 6 or 12 months. Most actions come with the work already started.
What problem does the Action plan solve?
Tracking tells you that ChatGPT recommends three competitors and never you. Fine. Now what? Fix the site first, or write content? Which page? The comparison your competitor ranks with, or the guide your prospects read? And the directory everybody seems to be listed on, is it worth the effort?
Most brands stop there. Not because they lack data, but because nobody turns it into a list of things to do, in the right order, with the time it takes. The Action plan is that list.
What is in the plan?
Everything that gets you cited, in one place, in the order that pays off:
- Blocking fixes. What stops AI crawlers or search engines from reading your site. Nothing else counts until these are gone.
- Pages that sell. Your offer, service, category and product pages: the pages an AI should send buyers to.
- Fixes on the pages that carry your prompts. A page that AI engines open on your prompts but never cite, for instance.
- Purchase content. Comparisons, best-of lists, buying guides: the pages AI engines quote when someone is choosing.
- Sources to get mentioned on. The directories, rankings and threads AI engines cite on your prompts, where your competitors appear and you do not.
- Support content. The articles that back up the rest.
For a local business, the same plan adds what happens on the map: completing your Google Business Profile, right after the blocking fixes, then the reviews to go after and the areas to win, each with its own page and the local sources AI engines cite.
Every line shows why it is there, in numbers: search demand, who ranks today, the engines that never cite you, the competitors cited instead, the Google clicks a page already brings. No vague advice.
How is it scheduled?
You set your pace, in articles per week, and a plan length of 3, 6 or 12 months. The plan opens on This week, then the rest of the month, then the months after. The first three months are planned page by page.
The order follows a few rules you would apply yourself if you had the time. Quick wins first: pages already ranking between 8 and 20 on Google, where a rework moves fastest. A pillar page before its satellites, never the other way round. A seasonal page two months before its peak, so it is indexed and cited when demand comes.
The Themes view shows the whole map behind the plan: your pillar and satellite pages, which are in place, to rework or to create, and the internal links between them.
How does Mentionable help you do the work?
This is where the Action plan stops being a to-do list.
- A page to create? Click Generate. Mentionable drafts it from the Google top 3 for the target query and the pages AI engines cite on the related prompts, with JSON-LD, title and description tags. The facts only you know (prices, numbers, case studies) are highlighted for you to complete, never invented. See page generation.
- An article to rework? Click Rewrite. The new version starts from your live page and fixes what the site audit found.
- A page that sells? Open the fix. Mentionable checks indexing, AI crawler access, rendering, JSON-LD and internal links, shows what an AI understands from the page, and suggests the title and description to use. We do not rewrite your sales copy for you: your offer pages stay in your words. See Site health.
- A source to get? You see why: the AI engines cite it on your prompts. The outreach is yours.
Mentionable never publishes anything on your site. You copy the page into your CMS, or apply the fix, and mark it done.
How do you know it worked?
The plan closes the loop on its own as much as it can.
Your site is crawled again every month. A fix you applied is detected and checked off, without you touching anything. A page you published from the plan is watched in the AI answers: once an engine cites it, you see "cited since" a date and on how many prompts.
The Progress page then sorts what you did into three groups, over four weeks: it worked, being measured, no visible effect. Mentions, citations, Google impressions and clicks, before and after. You stop guessing which actions were worth it.
How much does it cost?
The Action plan is included on every plan: Growth (€79/month, 1,500 credits), Pro (€149/month, 3,000 credits) and Agency (€299/month, 5,000 credits). A page generated or rewritten from the plan costs 150 credits. New themes are included every month, across your account: 3 on Growth, 5 on Pro and 10 on Agency, then 100 credits per extra theme. The count resets with each credit period.
On Pro and Agency, your own AI agent can read the plan through the Mentionable MCP server and mark missions done. In the dashboard, the AI assistant answers questions about it on every plan.
