Every month, the same ritual. You open the dashboard, take twelve screenshots, paste them into slides, write three bullet points, export a PDF, and send it. Two days later the client asks what happened on ChatGPT last week. The PDF does not say.
Or you are on the brand side, and your CEO wants to know where the company stands in AI answers. You do not want to give them a login, a training and the power to delete a question by accident.
Mentionable answers both with two kinds of access that read everything and change nothing.
What are the two ways to give access?
A read-only client login. Your client gets their own account in your workspace, with the Customer role. They open the app, browse their results, competitors and sources, on the projects you picked. They cannot add a question, launch a scan or touch a setting. This role comes with the agency offers.
A shared dashboard link. One click on Share on the project dashboard copies a link. Whoever opens it sees the dashboard, without an account. This works on every offer, brand or agency.
What does the client see on screen?
With the shared link, a single page: the project name and website at the top, the period and AI engine filters, then the same widgets as your own dashboard, in the same order. Mention rate, citations and sentiment, the competitors that take the space, the sources the AIs cite, the recent changes, the actions you logged, and when the project has them, the local map and the AI traffic. The page follows your dashboard layout: rearrange your widgets and the shared view follows.
With a client login, the app itself in read-only mode. The sidebar only shows the pages you allowed, only the projects you picked are reachable, and nothing that would change the tracking is available. The client can read the answer of each AI to each question, open the sources, compare periods. They do not see the AI assistant, the training area, the MCP setup or the billing.
In both cases, the data is the live data. After each scan, the client sees the new answers without anyone sending anything.
How do I invite a client?
From the team settings, enter your client's email, pick the Customer role and tick the projects they can see. At least one project is required, so a client never lands on your whole workspace by mistake. You can also untick the pages they should not open.
The client receives an invitation email, valid for 7 days. If they already have a Mentionable account, the workspace is added to it. If not, they create one and land directly on their project.
Agencies can also do it at the end of their onboarding: once the first client is tracked, Mentionable offers to invite that client as a read-only user, or to copy the shared dashboard link.
Is it in my agency's colors?
Yes, with the white label. The client login shows your agency's name, logo and color, and works on your own domain once it is connected. The shared dashboard carries your brand too: your logo, your color on the charts and on the local map, no Mentionable name in the page title.
Who is client access for?
Agencies that report to clients every month. The client login replaces the slides for clients who want to dig; the shared link replaces them for clients who just want to know where they stand.
Brands whose leadership wants the result, not the tool. Send the shared dashboard link to your CEO, your sales director or your board deck. They see the numbers your team works with, and nobody needs a training.
Teams that work with freelancers or partners. The link shows results without opening the account.
For colleagues who do work in Mentionable every day, the team collaboration roles (owner, admin, member) are the right tool.
What should I know about the shared link?
The link points to one project and shows only its dashboard. Anyone who has it can open it, like a private document link, so share it with the people who should see it. The page is not indexed by search engines and exposes nothing outside the dashboard widgets.
Which plans include client access?
The shared dashboard link is included in every Mentionable offer, brand or agency, and during the 7-day free trial.
The read-only client login (Customer role) comes with the agency offers, together with the white label and the white-label GEO audits. Team members are unlimited on every offer.
